Biography

U.S. Southern Colonies Project logo
Mary (Moseley) Daniel was a Virginia colonist.

Mary was born about 1685 in Middlesex County, Virginia. She is the daughter of Marvel Moseley and Sarah Blaise. She died on 26 March 1719 and was buried on 27 March 1719 in Middlesex County, Virginia.[1]

Research Notes

Mary was the second wife of William Daniel. Five of their children are named in Marvel Moseley's Will of 1720. They were Elizabeth, Moseley, Mary, Ann, and Agatha Daniel.[2]

Obadiah Daniel who married Sarah Moseley, daughter of John & Mary Nichols Moseley is often seen another son of Mary & William Daniel, but I know of no proof for this.

Moseley Daniel, son of William and Mary, died 24 May 1727 and was buried the next day. Christ Church Parish records.

Another Mary Daniell died on 12 February 1729/30 in Middlesex County, Virginia. Possible relation to this Mary Daniel's family? (p 187)[1]
