GARRARD-MOY
WEDDING
IN MELBOURNE
Simplicity marked the wedding at St Mary's Church of England East Preston, Melbourne, on Saturday, between Dulcie, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs T A Moy, Procter Rd Hobart and Chief Petty Officer Engine Room Artificer Athol Garrard RAN youngest son of Mrs G. Garrard and the late Mr Garrard, Bathurst St Hobart.
The bride, who was given away by her cousin, Mr Horace Reynolds, wore a frock of seventh-heaven white French crepe, and a royal blue coat. The frock was made with a cross-over bodice and V neckline, with pleated frilling edging the wide collar effect. Tile flared skirt had panel front fullness, and a shoulder spray of frangipanni was worn. The wide-brimmed while hat was smartly turned up at the back, and dropped over one eye. In keeping with the simplicity of her outfit, she carried a white prayer book.
The reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. Reynolds, Hawking St. East Preston. The bride and bridegroom received many congratulatory telegrams from various parts of Tasmania.
