Selukuki (Turtle-at-Home) was one of four known sons of Attakullakulla. [1] He does not appear in many early records, but in 1792 he was recorded as the head man at Running Water town, one of the new towns created by the Chickamauga faction. [2] He is found in the Records of the Cherokee Agency in Tennessee in the early 1800's. [3] He was visited by John Norton in 1811 who described him thus: "He had all that agreeable deportment, natural politeness and gaiety which generally accompany a clear head and kind heart." [4] His death date is unknown, but he is last mentioned in the agency records in 1818.
