He married THERESSA (TRACY) MUTARD/MUTTART 12 Feb 1784 in Coffin's Village, St. Johns Island (PEI), Canada by Rev. Desbrisay, daughter of BALTHAZAR MOUTARDE/MOTHART and MARGUERITE ULRICH. ^[1]She was born Mar 1766 in Bellechasse, QC, Canada,^[2] and died Abt. 1838 in Dunblane (at son James' farm), Lot 8, Prince Co., PEI, Canada (Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery in Brae).

Notes for DAVID M'WILLIAMS:

David came here with other Scottish settlers. Settled on the Tryon Point Road on the Creek Farm. To provide farms for his sons, he moved from the Creek Farm and took a section of land between Tryon and North Tryon. It was here the sons lived until they moved to Western PEI. It would appear that David emigrated in 1772 with his parents and sisters.

• Around 1990 I received the Ulrich, Muttart Tree from Waldron H. Leard and it shows a 6th son John b: 1787 in Tryon. he died in West Cape PEI along with his wife. a Catherine unknown and they had 9 children.

Their names are David b:1821, Michael b:1823, George Jackson b: 1825, Mary Ann b:1827, Elizabeth Margaret b:1830, Charlotte b:1832 , Charlotte b:1833, Williamb:1840 and Jane b:1841.
