Biography
Ruth was born 22 June 1880 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. [1] She was the daughter of Bayard Neilson and his mother's last name was Chapman. [1]

Devonshire North, Bermuda - Services were held Wednesday for Mrs. Ruth Rapalje Dill, 94, of Newbold Place, who died Tuesday at home. She was the widow of Col. Thomas Meville Dill, O.B.E., a former government offricial here.
Mrs. Dill was a native of Perth Amboy, N.J. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas Bayard and Sarah Gifford Nielson.
She was married Oct. 15, 1900.
She was a member of the Imperial Order of the Daughters of Empire here and was for many years in charge of the Girls Friendsly Society.
Her survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Philip Crockett of New Brunswick, N.J. [2] She was buried at Christ Anglican Church Cemetery.[3]
