She spent most of her youth in Rowley where she was born, but joined her family in their move to Mendon in 1722. She married Moses Gage in 1731 in Mendon[3][4]. It is not known whether Sarah and Moses knew each other in Rowley, but both their families became established in Mendon a number of years before their eventual marriage.
Moses and Sarah had three children to our knowledge, as follows:
Sarah lost her husband in 1774 and outlived him by 17 years. She passed away in 1791 at the age of 84. She was buried at her husband's side in Vernon Grove Cemetery in Milford, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA.[5]
