Elizabeth Newkirk, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Newkirk and wife of John Henry Hinkle, was born on July 28, 1800 and died on April 17, 1881 in the Pleasantville Township area of Sullivan County, Indiana, Aged 80 ys 8 ms 19 ds. She and her husband John Henry are both buried in the United Methodist Cemetery at Pleasantville, they have Identical but seperate grave markers that share the same pedestal. There is also what looks to be identical inscriptions at the bottom of both markers but the stones are so weathered, I was unable to decipher either of the inscriptions.
