Elizabeth Newman was a daughter of William Newman. Her birthdate has not been found, but is estimated based on her sister, Hannah's (January 29, 1657), as well as the fact that she was named in her father's 1676 will before Hannah. She married Increase Holley April 2, 1679 at Stamford, Connecticut, the same day that her sister, Hannah, married John Holley.[1] Elizabeth's husband, Increase Holly, was named in her brother, Daniel's will in 1695.[2]
