Thanks for signing up to the Connect-a-Thon this weekend from Saturday morning on 19 January 2024 at 2:00 a.m. until Tuesday morning 22 January 2024 at 2:00 a.m. Kiwi Crew team page gives all the details about where to work from. We will be chatting on the Kiwi Crew Discord server rather than through G2G. Please message me if you have any queries.

If you create a profile with only one source, please add the category New Zealand, Needs More Records, so someone can go and improve the profile even further.

Hi Liz,

I'm contacting you for the annual ANZACS Project membership checkin. We really appreciate your involvement in the Project in the last year. Thank you so much for all your help to improve profiles of ANZACs on WikiTree.

Please could you reply to this profile comment, or send me a private message to let me know if you'd like to stay on in the Project, and if so, what ANZACs activity you're planning to work on over the coming year. There are some ideas for activities on this page - Project:Anzacs. You could also add or update your entry on the 'Project Members and what we are doing' heading on that page.

If you've moved on to other things for the moment, that's absolutely fine. We'd appreciate if you'd let us know so that we can remove you as a member of the Project.

The ANZACs Project is a sub-project of the Military and War Project, which has a channel on Discord. If you're not on Discord yet, here's some information - Help:Discord. It's a great way to communicate with other members of the Project and help each other out.

We're always happy to receive any ideas or suggestions that you have to make our project even better.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Kia ora Liz,

The time has come again for the Connect-A-Thon, and we would be thrilled if you could join the Kiwi Crew once more. It's a breeze to participate—all you have to do is craft fresh profiles for individuals who have yet to be linked, and hopefully, they'll connect with the World Tree.

To sign up, head to the post, where you'll receive your Connect-a-Thon badge and be added to the team. When registering, please don't forget to mention the Kiwi Crew.

For additional details, please take a look at the Kiwi Crew Team page.

Happy WikiTreeing!

Hi Liz

After a long break, we are now getting the New Zealand Project back in action. I notice that you are already a member of the Kiwi Crew Discord server. This is where we are discussing how the project will be organised, though any major changes will be signposted in G2G.

Boese-202 just wondering if the Quinney family that you mention are the family who owned and ran Quinney's Bush. My Great Uncle Cedric Batt lived right next door for many years and I have wonderful memories of our visits there. And being towed behind a tractor on a sack on Quinney's farm. Would probably not be allowed today.

Yes this is the Quinney family that owns and still runs Quinney's Bush.

Hi Liz

I think I have now added you to Colin Kingsley Hawkens Trusted List. Let me know if I haven't. I am connected through his wife so haven't done anymore on Colin. I do have most of his forebears and some of the stories as Colin was a great historian and family historian. Coralie Smith nee Hamilton

If we have not received your form within the week, we will have to assume you have moved on to other things and remove you from the project. You will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you,

PS The form is just your details and a few clicks.

Hello, Liz,

As part of a revitalization effort for the New Zealand Project, we are checking-in with members to see if they are planning to remain active and make project-specific contributions in the upcoming months.

If you have other obligations at the moment and would like to be removed from the project at this time, you will always be welcome to rejoin if you find yourself with more time and interest later.

All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.

Please respond by commenting on my profile or sending a private message. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
