Elizabeth Newton was born circa 1685, in Westmoreland County, Virginia, the only daughter of immigrant John Newton of England and Rose (?nee) Newton. [1]
She married before October 1710, in Westmoreland County, Virginia, Major Benjamin Berryman, the only child of John Berryman and Jane (Tucker) Berryman. Elizabeth and Benjamin had twenty-two children through their marriages. [2]
Elizabeth died between 14 Jun 1762 and 22 Feb 1763, the dates when her will was written and probated in Westmoreland County, Virginia [3]
