The farm is adjacent to her father's farm and family, Erasmus Nichols.^[2]

By 1870 the family has moved to Union Township, Dallas County, Iowa.^[3]

By 1880, she has passed away. Her husband is still on the same Iowa farm. However, he is a widower.
