Biography
Janet was born in 1810. She was the daughter of Robert Nicol and Helen Lawrie. In 1861, Janet and Andrew are living in the Parish of Avondale in Strathaven with their children Helen age 24, Andrew age 17, Janet age 15, Margaret age 12. Helen Bryce age 3 is also at the house.
She passed away in December 1879,in Barn Street at Milnholm, Strathaven. Andrew Park, her son-in-law was the informant.
Janets date of birth varies between her various census records (1809-1810) and her death certificate (1805).
