Biography

Helen was born about 1811, and she passed away in June 1870, in Todshill Street Strathaven.

In 1841, Helen and David are living at St Anns Well, Strathaven, with their children Jean age 6, Robert age 4, and Helen age 1. David, a cotton Handloom weaver age 14 is also living in the house, and his relationship is unstated.

In 1851, Helen and David are living in Strathaven, and the children are Eliza age 22, Jean age 16, Robert age 14, Hellen age 10, Archibald age 9, Andrew age 7, Janet age 5, and James age 2.

In 1861, Helen and David are still in Strathaven, and the children in the house are John age 28, Archibald age 19, Andrew age 17, Janet age 15, and Margaret age 9.
