Research Notes

  • Kentucky not formed until 1792.
  • Per Mike Noe:
    • Peter Noe (2) died 1802 as per his will in Clark Co., KY, his wife was identified as Mary Noe, children were James, Pryor, Sarah Tracey (Noe), Sibba Tracey (Noe), Elizabeth Tricade (Kincaid - Noe), Bytha (Tibitha) Noe, and Quilse (Aquilla) Noe. Aquilla is my g-g- grandfather.
    • Peter's will was written January 16, 1802 and probated November 22, 1802.
  • Per Brian Schweitzer:
    • The death location is correct, but 7 Nov 1787 was the death date for the Peter Noe in North Carolina. This Peter Noe was the one who was born in MD, lived in NC, then moved to and died in KY. He has nothing to do with the NC one. The MD/KY one has a will dated 16 Jan 1802 from Clark County, Kentucky, which was probated 22 Nov 1802, also in Clark County, Kentucky.
