Etha Angelina Noles/Knowles is the daughter of Seaborne Wesley (Knowles) Noles (1871-1952) and Mary Catherine (Carr) Noles (1871-1933) ^[1].

Etha was born on 14 Sep 1901 in Alabama, United States.

Etha married William Mercer Rhodes about 1920 ^[2]. Etha and William had one child of their own which died young ^[3]. After the death of their child, they adopted a child (Sam Edd Floyd) from another Arab, Alabama, United States couple who had several children. They raised Sam as thei own but never did a name change.
