John was born in Concord, Massachusetts, during 'the Dispersion' following the burning of Groton, Massachusetts. He became known as "The Centenarian" because he lived a full century. It was also said that he retained both his physical and mental vigor until the end.[1] John and his grand-nephew William compiled the Early Genealogy of the Nutting family. It was in diagram form. [2]
John was born about 1678 in Concord.
John died in 1778, having lived 100 years. He died in Groton, Massachusetts.
John Nutting married Mary Spaulding, as his first wife. Secondly, John Nutting married Mary Wood Parker on 3 January 1706 in Groton, Province of Massachusetts Bay.
