James O'Hara was born in Ireland.

James was baptized 20 Feb 1851 in Ballymena, Co. Antrim, Ireland. He was the son of Henry O'Hara and Margaret Walsh. Sponsors at his baptism were Rev. McCann and Catherine Laverty.[1]

In 1901, the Ireland Census lists James living in Deerfin, Ballyclug, Antrim, with two sisters, Mary and Rose.[2]

He passed away in 1927.
