In the 1850, Greenville Census, Daniel O'Shields, his wife Rhody and the rest of those living in his household (12 Children) are listed. Interestingly, two Seaborn O'Shields are listed in this Census. According to an O'Shields family researcher the second, 10 year old, Seaborn is actually Robert Yancy Hayne O'Sheal who was raised by the 30 year old Seaborn. The Census taker did not note the familial relationships in the family group on the Census.
