^{[citation needed]} Elizabeth Odom, daughter of William Odom, was born about 1700, married John Collins and had by him eight sons, born between 1721 and 1751 (according to FindAGrave). She died in 1737 (according to WikiTree).

Elizabeth was the daughter of WILLIAM ODOM and UNKNOWN. She was born Bet. 1700 - 1720 in Nansemond County, Virginia.

Elizabeth Odom married John Collins (b-1696_d-1764).

"Moses Collins Sr. (1751 SC-1816), one of eight sons of John Collins and Elizabeth Odom of Virginia and South Carolina, was a Revolutionary War soldier in South Carolina. This Collins line descends from John Collins, Maidstone, Kent County, England, who emigrated to Virginia in the early 1600s."

From a bio for Moses posted in Mississippi GenWeb:^[7]

"Moses Collins, Sr. was likely born in old Granville Co., SC in about 1753. He died January 29, 1816 in Pike Co., MS. He was probably the son of John Collins and his wife who is unknown."

Elizabeth was born about 1720.
