George Pike Ody was baptised on 01 Jul 1753 at Lydiard Tregoze, WIltshire, son of Thomas and Ann.[1]
George Pike Ody of Lydiard Tregoze married Mary Price of Lydiard Tregoze on 06 Oct 1774 at Lydiard Tregoze, Wiltshire, in the presence of Martha Simmons and William Price.[2]

George Ody of Lydiard Millicent was buried on 06 Dec 1832 at Lydiard Tregoze, Wiltshire, with a given age of 80.[4]
In his will made on 14 Apr 1829 he was described as George Ody of Shaw, Lydiard Millicent, Yeoman.[5] He made bequests of five pounds each to his granddaughters Mary the wife of Thomas Godwin and Mary Peaple daughter of John Peaple. The rest of his estate was to be shared between his children George Ody, Richard Ody, Noah Ody and Ann the wife of John Peaple. His son, George Ody was named executor. The will was proved at Cricklade on 24 Dec 1832 to George Ody (It was recorded that the Testator had died on 01 Dec 1832).
The memorial stone for George Ody in the churchyard of Lydiard Tregoze has an incorrect date of death of 01 Dec 1833.
