Biography

Nathaniel was born in 1722 in Hackensack, NJ. His family belonged to the old Dutch Reformed Church in Hackensack, where he was baptized in 1722. The family moved to the Newark area, possibly Orange, after Nathaniel’s birth.

He married Eunice Condit before 1756. They had two daughters, Phebe and Sally.[2] And one son, Isaac. Geni lists another son, Nathaniel, married to Rhoda Munn.

Nathaniel filed a petition with the Essex County record in 1746
