She married James Lewis in1822 in New Jersey. They had one child, a daughter named Sarah Frances.
Rhoda and her husband James Lewis are on the federal 1850 census as living in Brooklyn in a multi-family dwelling with two other small families including the Harts. [2]
A New York Presbyterian church record of attendance was found of daughter Sarah Frances with Rhoda Lewis November 1828.[3] Thus was from the Laight Street Church in lower Manhattan, no longer there.
Rhoda is on the 1860 New York census, living in Brooklyn, NY.
She was living with her daughter’s family. James her husband had died in January of 1858.
Rhoda died about 1880 in Brooklyn, New York.
