DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Winifred by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Winifred:
Did Winifred marry brothers? Both John and William. Or did William marry another Winifred Oldham? I'm working on my family history and came across this Winifred. I just can't seem to find if Winifred was married twice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I think this Winifred OLDHAM is incorrectly attached as the wife of William. William has a daughter, Melinda NEVILLE, who married David THOMPSON in 1796 in Mercer Co., KY. Her parents, who gave consent, were William and Wineford NEVILLE.
