He married Janette (Jane) Workman about 1747 in New Jersey.

He died 17 Jul 1816. He is buried at Briggs Cemetery, Ballston Spa, Saratoga. [1]

I have an Oliphant Grandmother and in my research I saw William Oliphant was banished to New Jersey in 1665 he arrived there the same year.

Also, Andrew Oliphant arrived in New England in 1762 and John Oliphant arrived in New York in 1814.
