Colin Oliphant was killed in Action during the War of the League of Cambrai at the Battle of Flodden Field.

Colin Oliphant, Master of Oliphant was the son of Lady Elizabeth Campbell (d. after 18 Nov 1516) and John Oliphant, 2nd Lord Oliphant. He m. Lady Elizabeth Keith (mar. (2) after 17 Apr 1524 as his 1st wife William [Sinclair], 4th Lord Sinclair), 2nd dau. of William [Keith], 2nd Earl Marischal, by his wife Lady Elizabeth Gordon, 3rd dau. of George [Gordon], 2nd Earl of Huntly. He was killed at the Battle of Flodden Field in Branxton, Northumberland, England on 9 September 1513.
