Jonathan Orndorff was born in Chester County, Pennsylvania in 1771; the son of Johannes Orndorff and Eva Mentz.
On the 29 March 1799, he married Priscilla Frye in Shenandoah County, Virginia.[1]
Jonathan and Priscilla had the following children:

Henry Orndorff, b. 8 Apr 1807, Frederick Co.; d. 1 Sep 1856, Delaware Co., OH.
John Orndorff, b. 27 Mar 1812, Frederick Co.; d. 1 Apr 1881.
Catherine Orndorff; m. 23 Feb 1830, Abraham Brill.
Just a year after their marriage, in a Frederick Co., Court, 1 Dec 1800 Jonathan is granted guardianship of his nine-year-old half-brother, Levi Orndorff; and his 11-year-old half-sister, Rebecca Orndorff. Their father had died in 1798 and they had been in the custody of their mother, Hannah McIlwee.[2]
Jonathan was mentioned on a memorial in Hunt Cemetery, Harlem Township, Delaware County, Ohio, United States with a death date of 15 Mar 1859.[3]

Orndorff-71 and Orndorff-48 appear to represent the same person because: Same name. Same birth dates, same birth places, same death dates and places, same wife's name, same marriage date and place. Pretty clearly both profiles represent the same individual.
