Biography

Nathaniel Ostrander was born December 27, 1818 in New Hurley, Ulster, New York to Abel Ostrander and Catherine Esterly. On April 11, 1938 he was married to Eliza Jane Yantis in Dover, Missouri. Together, they had eleven children. He graduated with a PhD from St Louis University in 1848. He passed away February 7, 1902 in Olympia, Washington.^[1][2]
