Notes copied from communication by Mary Gregg, see URL under source: Elizabeth Owen was born July 24, 1783(11), in Georgia or Virginia, and died about 1849, probably in Marshall County, Mississippi(9).She married William Cochran December 22, 1798, in Oglethorpe County, Georgia(10).He was born February 20, 1774, in Virginia(11), and died in late 1827 or early 1828 in Fayette County, Tennessee(12).
