Mary married John E. Dolan 6 May 1868 at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Rachel Paddock and Samuel Hubbell in North Greenbush, New York. The Rev. A. A. Farr from the Methodist Episcopal Church of Bath and Rensselaer officiated.[2]
Mary and John four children, two daughters and two sons, one son died in infancy.[3][4]
Mary was widowed 13 September 1877 and applied for her Widow's Pension from her husband's service in the Civil War. She spent nearly twenty years dealing with government and military bureaucracy to get it awarded.[5]
Mary married Frank Silas Brown 27 December 1880.[6] They had six children, three died in infancy.[7][8]

Mary died 28 June 1919 in Rensselaer, New York.[1]
