Joan was born before 1180. She was the daughter of Hugh de Pantulf le tort.[1]
She married William de Bouquetot[1][2] who died in about 1200. They appear to have had no children. In 1200/1 King John granted her as wife to Philip d'Aubigny, along with her lands.[2][3]
Research Notes
Her father may have been Hugh Pantulf of Wemme (abt. 1145 - bef. 1224): see discussion on soc.genealogy. medieval.[4]
The same discussion considers the possibility that she married three times, the first husband being William Trian.[4]
