Hi - my mothers Parkers left NC and settled in the Mississippi Territory ... seems there were two brothers or first cousins, John & Jacob that eventually settled in Jasper County Ms. Anyway, we belong to Family Group 28 in the YDNA Parker Project at FamilyTreeDNA ..... YDNA markers for the most part are static over 10 to 20 generations which allows folks with the same biological surname to be grouped together by their numeric markers in Family Groups even if your most recent common ancestor is 10 generations ago ... Does anyone know which Family Group this Parker Family belongs to ?

thanks, Lawrence Elmore son of Faye Carolyn Parker

Parker-50281 and Parker-2119 appear to represent the same person because: I made an entry for my gggg grandfather John Parker, creating Parker-50281, before checking if a profile existed previously. I am sure that my John Parker, who married Chloe Lassiter, is the same person as John Parker (Parker-2119).

What are the documents that support 1755 as the year of birth? John Parker's father would have only been 10yo at the time.

Parker-22848 and Parker-7848 appear to represent the same person because: I am a descendant of John Parker and Chloe (Lassiter) Parker, confirmed through an AncestryDNA Match

I am new to WikiTree and am trying to connect my GEDCOM to the larger tree.
