Biography
Solomon Parsons Jr. was born on 5 June 1772 to William Parsons Sr. and Mary "Polly" Cragg. It is believed that he was born in Rutherford County, North Carolina, but this has not been confirmed with appropriate documentation.
Solomon married Lydia Sturgill about 1796 in Ashe County, North Carolina. There were 14 known children born to this union:
