Thanks for your contributions to Puritan Great Migration (PGM) project profiles.
Like all WikiTree projects we check in with team members periodically to find out about their continued interest in the project. Would you please respond by February 5, 2024, to let us know about your interest:
Please respond to this comment on your profile, or if you'd like, send a private message to either Bobbie (Madison) Hall or S (Hill) Willson.
Thanks for all you do for PGM and WikiTree!
Regards,
Bobbie and Sharon, Co-Leaders, Puritan Great Migration Project
Thanks for your message. Firstly, yes, I would like to continue as a PGM project team member. Once I have finished my current period of research on my own extended family (I recently broke through some roadblocks, so have several new avenues to pursue and resolve), then I will get back to helping more on the PGM Project.
I don't have any further suggestions for priorities, and will leave that in the capable hands of others like yourselves. At this time, I couldn't take a more active role in PGM. However, one of my future goals was to spend a few days later this year in Dorchester, Dorset, England, going through the Dorset Archives with the goal of more accurately matching up some of the PGM migrants from Dorset to their family origins in Dorset and surrounding counties. Some of the more useful sources here are either not available online, or not always accurately transcribed.
I hope that makes sense!
Kind regards Stewart
Best of luck with your Dorset research, and be sure to let us know of your findings.

Thank you for all the work that you have done for the England Project. As you have not responded to our recent check in we are assuming that you wish to leave the project. We hope that you will want to re-join us sometime in the future. You can do this by responding to our G2G post. https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1350343/do-you-want-to-become-an-england-project-member-in-2022.
Best regards, Maddy
I wrote to you recently as part of the England Project's six-monthly check-in with our project members. I haven't heard back from you. I hope you are well.
If you could please drop me a quick note to confirm whether you are still interested in the project and wish to remain an active member, that would be very helpful.
If we do not hear from you within the next 2 weeks, we will assume you are no longer active in the England Project and remove you from our list of project members. You would be most welcome to re-apply to join the project at a later time by signing-up on the project’s G2G welcome post.
Many thanks!
Maddy, England Project Leader

Thanks for contributing to Puritan Great Migration profiles over the last six months. Every little bit helps, so please keep those edits coming!
Like all WikiTree projects we check in with team members twice per year and it's that time again. Please respond within the next two weeks to let me know:
If you'd like to tell me about a particular project or family you're working on, I'd love to hear about that as well.
Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. I look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks!
Brad Stauf, PGM membership coordinator
Absolutely! That's what Wikitree is all about. Feel free to add anyone / anything where you have valid sources.
I'm trying to add you as a second profile manager; but the site keeps diverting me onto a spurious page. Strange!
Thanks for your time David

This is a courtesy email to say thanks for taking responsibility for more Orphaned Profiles. One quick way to find the profiles you adopted is by searching your Contributions List for the word "adopted" or "manager." You probably already know that you can find a quick link to your Contributions List in the My WikiTree dropdown menu.
Since some of the profiles were created from a GEDCOM, I wanted to make sure you know about the AGC extension that helps with the formatting so that you can concentrate on the research. You can read more about it in the WikiTree AGC FAQ. AGC works great for brand new profiles. It may or may not work well on the previously orphaned profiles. Some have been changed enough for the tool not to work.
Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up GEDCOM biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!

I would to thank you for all your contributions towards the goals of the England Project during the past six months. We've achieved a huge amount during this period and we couldn't have done it without you and our other project members.
As the England Project Leaders, we are completing our six monthly check-in with all project members.
Are you happy to stay in your current project teams? Which teams are you most active in? Are there other teams you would like to join or become more active in?
Also, do you have any feedback on what the project is doing well and anything we could do better in the future?
Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message. I look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks!
Joan, England Project Leader
I'm happy to stay in my current team, Mighty Oaks. I'm also happy with everything that the England Project is doing, and have no issues.
Best regards, Stewart Partridge
Thank you for getting back to me. Your team are Lincolnshire https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Lincolnshire_Team and Middlesex https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Lincolnshire_Team To belong to the England project you have to belong to a team. As Mighty Oaks is a challenge team and you have to re-register for each challenge it does not count. Regards Joan
Kind regards, Stewart

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.
Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please dont assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.
Many thanks,
Susie
On behalf of the England Project Leaders we're carrying out a check-in to see how all the members are doing and taking the opportunity to thank you for all your hard work over the past six months. We have been so impressed with the way everyone has rallied together and gone the extra mile to make this one of the most dedicated, productive and friendly communities on WikiTree. What are you enjoying most about being in the project? What would you like to see improved or changed? Would you like to continue in the project moving forwards?
We're looking forward to hearing back from you,
Susie, Gillian, Wendy and Amy

We really appreciate all your contributions and hard work :)
We would love some feedback from you please. :)

If you are not already on a team, which one would you like to be on?
If you are not sure what is available, just ask, we are here to help :)
Are you still happy contributing to the England Project?
Please PM me through my profile and let me know how you are doing :)
Thank you :)
