Biography
All of the Featherstone Family/Society information leads one to believe that Francis was not a member of this family. However, based on information from Familysearch.org, it would appear that Francis was Rebecca's son from her first marriage. There are notes to indicate that he was adopted by "Featherstone" and that his original name was "Patram".
LDS Microfiche Records "Virginia" (May 1988) page 4,517 -- it shows that Frances Perrin Elam married Francis Patram on 29 Dec 1696 in Henrico VA, and therefore researchers believes that her maiden name was Perrin.
Annals of Henrico Parish, Diocese of Virginia, 1611-1884 Provides source for marriage to Frances Elam, widow of Martin Elam.
