Biography

Francis was born about 1838 in Ohio. She married Samuel Pence on October 19, 1855 om Brown County, Ohio.[1]

Samuel and Frances Pence were the only adults in the Pence household of 9 during 1870. There were five males and two females under the age of 13 residing with them: Gilbert 12, Stella 11, Henry 7, George 4, Melissa 3, Milton 2 and an infant, Melven.[2]

1840: has female girl under 5.[3]
1850: Has household member named Frances born 16 about 1834 (4 years before hear estimated birth from 1870 Census.[4]

From Sprigg Township, Adams, Ohio, United States - either Henry[5] or Benjamin.[6]

Note: Found no records in 1850 US Census for household with a Frances headed by either a Henry or Benjamin. Best guess is George Payne but need more sources/records to add him as father.Fuller-5853 20:55, 10 January 2018 (EST)
