Biography

Francis was born about 1838 in Ohio. She married Samuel Pence on October 19, 1855 om Brown County, Ohio.^[1]

Samuel and Frances Pence were the only adults in the Pence household of 9 during 1870. There were five males and two females under the age of 13 residing with them: Gilbert 12, Stella 11, Henry 7, George 4, Melissa 3, Milton 2 and an infant, Melven.^[2]
