Biography

John was a Friend (Quaker)
This profile is part of the Peasley Name Study.

John was born on 25d 12m 1753 [25 Dec 1753].[1] He was the son of Ebenezer Peaslee and Lydia (Weed) Peaslee.[1]

Unlike their sister Sarah, birth records for the remaining Peaslee children were not found in Amesbury, suggesting that the family moved to Dutchess County, New York sometime before 1747.[1][2][3]

He was disowned by the Oblong monthly meeting on 15d 4m 1773 [15 Apr 1773].[4]
