Eugene Melvin Peasley was born April 21st, 1930 to Francis Lynden Peasley and Alice Hester Harrison.^[1][2]

In 1951, Gene enlisted in the army. Gene was an MP and part of the army of occupation in Germany and earned that medal. He was honorably discharged in 1953.^[3][4]
