Old Goshen Cemetery is on old highway 28 north of village of Goshen. Bear left after entering cemetery; Snell family graves (Daniel, Sarah, James, and Laura Bertie (daughter of Daniel Boone and Jeanette)) are on right near road. Pictures at grave taken 7/90 when JSC Snell-2717 visited. Sarah's gravestone inscription reads, "Come welcome death the end of fears. I am prepared to die." JSC had the eerie experience of walking directly to the family graves, having never been there before.

Daniel and Sarah's son William Henry is already in Illinois by 1850. Elizabeth, Permelia, Zealy, and Mary are all married before 1850.
