Biography

Jacob was born February 13th, 1870 on the Hillestad farm in Hafslo, Norway to Peder Iversen & Marthe Jacobsdatter.^[1][2][3]Before he left from Bergen on July 23rd, 1891^[4] he had an illegitmate child with Malene Olsdatter.^[5] Jacob arrived in New York on August 5th, 1891.^[6][7][8] He married Anna Lindberg in Crookston, Minnesota on May 18th, 1901.^[3] From their marriage came four children.^[9][10][11] Jacob died May 29th, 1952 in Fosston, Minnesota.^[12][3][13]
