Hey Gabriel,

If you are interested in the privacy controls for living individuals, WikiTree automatically sets them to private. You can also control the level of privacy by clicking on the Privacy Tab at the top of your profiles.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.

I am Gabriel Pelger. I'm only 13 years old and I'm glad to have found WikiTree. All other genealogy websites want money from you; with WikiTree there is a kind of symbiosis between me and the site: I can find people who have information I can incorporate, and the website can grow from the information I provide or from the things that can be inferred from contact with other site members. I would be happy to agree to the reasonable rules. Before I upload the GEDCOM that I have exported from my genealogy program, I would like to find out more about privacy, as I would like to exclude most people nearer than 3 generations to protect their privacy. Lastly, I just want to say that I could not have come as far as I have without help from family, and credit my relatives for their help. That's all.
