Isaac Penny was born to Asa Penny and Comfort Penny between 1787 and 1790 in Delaware. All records for Isaac indicate a different birth year between these ranges.

Isaac resided in Brown County, Ohio during the great majority of his adult life. He was a farmer. He married three times and had ten known children -- 5 sons and 5 daughters.

His first wife was Rebecca Waymire Senyed. They married on 13 Jun 1811 in Clermont County, Ohio. No known children were born to this union.

Isaac then married Hannah Spinney on 21 May 1816 in Clermont County, Ohio. There were six known children born to this union:

Hannah passed away in 1829 and Isaac married his third wife Elizabeth Brolliar Worthington on 18 Apr 1834 in Brown County, Ohio. There were four known children born to this union:

Isaac passed away at approximately the age of 91 years old on 24 Feb 1878. He is believed to have passed away in Brown County, Ohio. However, no death record has been located at this time. He was laid to rest at New Harmony Cemetery in New Harmony, Brown County, Ohio.
