Biography

Pierre Percy is a part of US Black heritage.

Pierre Clement Percy was born in 1825 in New Orleans, Louisiana. His parents were Antoine Flavien Percy and Adele Paigne. Documents state that he was a plasterer. He also lived in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, where his wives and some of his children were born.

He married Magdalena Adelaide Poree before 1864. [citation needed] They had a family in Mexico.

Their known children were:
  1. Peter Percy (c.1851)
  2. Joseph Percy (c.1854)
  3. Elvina Percy (1864)[1]
  4. Angelina Isabella Percy (1865)

Pierre Clement Percy's second wife was Louisa Amelia Castaigne. They married in 1866 and raised their children in New Orleans.

Their children were:
  1. Florentine Percy (1866)
  2. Felix Percy
  3. Aristide Percy
  4. Hortense Percy
  5. Octavia Percy
  6. Clementine Percy
  7. Augustine Percy (1879)
  8. Florinda Percy

They were living in New Orleans from at least 1870[2] through 1880.[3][4]

He died at the age of 60 on January 30 1886.[citation needed]

This confirms their common ancestor Pierre Clement Percy.

These three DNA testers share segments of 4 chromosomes - 2, 6, 14, and 21.
