Experience Perkins petitioned the court on 22 Feb. 1812 “it being inconvenient for me to execute the Trust of an Executrix to the last will & Testament of Isaac Perkins of Middleborough my late Husband deceased,” and requested “that Mr. Azel Perkins, a son of my late Husband might be appointed to that trust in my stead.”
The will was presented for probate on 7 Apr. 1812 by Azel Perkins of Middleborough, yeoman, “Experience Perkins the Executrix therein named having refused to execute said Trust,” and was proved by Jonathan Crane, Esq., and Jared Pratt, two of the witnesses.
