Biography

Abigail Perry was born on August 24, 1801 in Cape Negro, Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia.[1] Her parents were Elisha Perry and Sarah Kitchens.

She married George Trefry in 1801.[2] Together they had 12 children:

  1. George Trefry (1823-1899)
  2. Anna Trefry (1825-1887)
  3. Silas Trefry (1826-1885)
  4. Elisha Trefry (1828-1895)
  5. Delancy Trefry (1830-1903)
  6. Abigail Trefry (1827-1831)
  7. Joseph Trefry (1833-1837)
  8. Avery Trefry (1834-1937)
  9. Caleb Trefry (1836-1853)
  10. Joseph Trefry (1838-1880)
  11. Abigail Trefry (1839-1861)
  12. Norman Trefry (1844-1917)

She died on June 25, 1883, at the age of 81, in Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, Canada, and was buried in the Arcadia Cemetery.[1]
