Biography
Abigail Perry was born on August 24, 1801 in Cape Negro, Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia.[1] Her parents were Elisha Perry and Sarah Kitchens.
She married George Trefry in 1801.[2] Together they had 12 children:
- George Trefry (1823-1899)
- Anna Trefry (1825-1887)
- Silas Trefry (1826-1885)
- Elisha Trefry (1828-1895)
- Delancy Trefry (1830-1903)
- Abigail Trefry (1827-1831)
- Joseph Trefry (1833-1837)
- Avery Trefry (1834-1937)
- Caleb Trefry (1836-1853)
- Joseph Trefry (1838-1880)
- Abigail Trefry (1839-1861)
- Norman Trefry (1844-1917)
She died on June 25, 1883, at the age of 81, in Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, Canada, and was buried in the Arcadia Cemetery.[1]
