Emma was the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Marceline Henault Peters. She was born about 1875. More research is needed.
First, I googled Pierre Pitre and got the website below. Thought I'd just need to check the 1880 US Federal Census for Deer Lodge Valley, Montana, but they were not on the census for either township listed. Maybe the township lines were redrawn. The earliest available was for 1900. I had success with the Montana Death Index on Ancestry for some of the family, and hints started appearing for everyone one but Emma and Alexander under the name Peters. Now I have changed the name on Ancestry to Pitre to see if that name was used in their early life together.
I only adopted these profiles to take my time to find correct sources. They are not close relatives as my Peters relatives trace to Germany. If anyone is related and would like to become the manager of Emma, Alexander or Charles, just contact me. Beverly.
