The record involves a land dispute in 1834, after Ruben's death. His wife is listed as Jane. His children were: Dennis Dye, Dussaway Dye, Benjamin Dye, John Dye, William Dye, and Mary wife of Dennis Murphy. William F. Dye, Elijah Dye, and Drusy Ann were the children of Vincent Dye, who had died before 1834."

Since Vincent died in 1815, his widow Elizabeth would have married Dusosway Dye about 1816 and Delilah born 1817, Jane & Elizabeth born 1819 would have been by Dusosway rather than Vincent as previously believed.

Petty-492 and Petty-372 appear to represent the same person because: Petty-492 and Petty-372 are the same person but the information is incomplete in Petty-492.
