Biography

From Peyton's Of Virginia [1]

John Peyton – CX/C Line
Formerly the CX Line
NOTE: CX Line was merged into the C Line 2/1/2010 by PSV Genealogist Patricia “Joan” Allen. CX-1 John Peyton is the same person as C-36 John Payton Jr., page 197, The Peytons of Virginia II, 2004. Thus, descendants of CX-1 John Peyton have the same Peyton descent as C-36 John Payton Jr.: 21. John Payton Sr.>15. Valentine Payton>10. Philip Peyton>5. Philip Payton> 1. Thomas Peyton Sr. of Bisley. Because of the length of the regenerated CX Line – 41 pages – it was unfeasible to incorporate it in the C Line report. Instead, this regenerated Line, which is being published in the Peyton Book Additional Data series, has been designated as the CX/C Line to mark it as an extension of the C Line. Additional data has been included in the regenerated line.
