Rebecca (Phetteplace) Turner was born in 1734. She was the daughter of Samuel Phetteplace and Abigail (Hammond) Phetteplace. She passed away in 1803.
Rebecca married John Stearns, son of John & Martha (Willard) Stearns before 1747 at Newport, Newport, RI - parents of John, Willard, Martha, Hannah, Joseph, Benjamin, Isaac, Simon and Samuel Stearns
