Biography
Carrie Phillips was born on June 27, 1892 in Charlotte, North Carolina.[1] Her parents were John Phillips and Elizabeth Hinson.[2][3] She married Banah Uriah Pigg on December 22, 1910 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.[4]
Together they had at least 4 children:[5]
- Raymell Pigg (about 1913 daughter)
- Elvin Pigg (about 1914 daughter)
- Mildred (Pigg) Hartsell[1] (about 1916 daughter)
- Erman (about 1920 son)
She died on 3 September 1988 in Charlotte, Mecklenburg, North Carolina, and is buried in Arlington Baptist Church Cemetery, Charlotte, North Carolina.[1]
