Genealogically Defined

Matilda was born in 1856[1] in Margate, Kent, England[2][3][4][5][6]. She was the daughter of Richard Phillpott and Elizabeth Phillpott.

Matilda PHILLPOTT married Robert PARKER 19th December 1881 at St. Pauls, St. Mary Newington, Surrey, England. Robert PARKER, 19, bachelor, a postman of 44 St. Pauls Road {Newington}, son of Charles PARKER (basket maker) and Matilda PHILLPOTT, 26, spinster, of 41 St. Pauls Road {Newington}, daughter of Richard PHILLPOTT (Plumber). Witnessed by Charles PARKER & Edna SHORT[7]

Matilda and Robert moved back to Matilda's birth-town of Margate some time between 1911 and 1934, probably to stay with their son William Robert who had moved to Margate by 1911.

Matilda's husband Robert died in 1934 in Kent, England[8]

Matilda PARKER, widow of 5 Bailey's Cottages, Zion Place, Margate, Kent[9], passed away 30th October 1937[9][10].

Probate 6th December 1937 London to Charles Thomas PARKER, Newsagent and Edith AKEHURST (wife of Benjamin George AKEHURST). Effects: £317 12s 10d. [9]
